He was predeceased by: his parents, Vasil Chemski and Mary Chemski (Halgash); his wife Leona "Lee" Chemski (Fodiak); and his siblings, Mike, George "Jake" Halgash, John, Joseph, Andy, Paul "Boots" Chemski, Mary DeBacco, Helen Matteo and Anna Krehlik.
He is survived by: his son Ronald E. Chemski (Jenn Gesuale) of Greensburg; his grandchildren, Kylie and Ash of Latrobe; his daughter Anita M. Diaz (Max) of Latrobe; his grandchildren, Jack Chemski, Tiffany Diaz and Elizabeth "Lizzy" Diaz; his sisters, Margaret Pezzoni of Peanut, Jane Alexander of Derry and Sue Robinson of Florida; his stepgrandsons, Roy, Ian "Bobby", Tony and Junior Diaz; and his siblings-in-law, Marge Schrum of Derry, Madge Andreycak of Latrobe and Dennis Stern of Pittsburgh. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
