He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward V. Planinsek, Sr. and Janet J. Planinsek (Jackman). He is survived by: his wife Cindy R. Planinsek (Butcher) of Latrobe; his children, Abby Bezilla (Adam) of Latrobe and David E. Planinsek of Latrobe; his siblings, Ed Planinsek, Jr. (Marilyn) of Bridgeville, Mick Planinsek (Wendy) of Latrobe, Ken Planinsek (Beth) of Latrobe, Lisa Singer (Marty) of Latrobe, Lori Rodgers (Shawn) of Latrobe and Nina Enfinger (Billy) of Latrobe; and his grandchildren, Bennett Edward and Jackman David. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
