It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene M. McElhaney of Latrobe, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 4, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Zappone and Helen Zappone (Miscovich); and her husband Russell E. McElhaney Sr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra K. Pezek of Derry and Karen A. Horner (Scott) of Ligonier; her stepsons, Russell E. McElhaney Jr. (Lori) of Ligonier, Raymond J. McElhaney (Carolyn) of Trafford and Ronald W. McElhaney (Colleen) of Latrobe; her brothers, Ronald L. Zappone of Marguerite, Raymond J. Zappone (Sandra) of Latrobe and Michael Zappone of Latrobe; her grandchildren, Gary (Stephanie), Blaise (Amanda), Abigail and Emmie; her great grandchild Arianna; her stepgrandchildren, Joshua (Missy), Amanda (Matt), Alicia, Maura, Savannah and Tate; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Caleb, Kyleigh, Lium and Mason. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
