He is survived by: his close friend Evelynne Majernik; his partner Evelynne Majernik; his son Daniel Benjamin Mattioli, Jr. (Jamie); his grandchildren, Amanda, Kyle, Ryan, Calli, Declan and Alexis; his great grandchildren, Jace, Lainey, Holden, Griffin and Maren; and his stepgrandchildren, Hayden and Kendall.

Before his accident and the social isolation of the COVID pandemic, he never had a bad day.
