He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis J. Peterson Sr. and Eleanor Janosky Peterson; and his sister Eleanor Moran. He is survived by: his wife Roxanne Zipay; his children, Allen Peterson of Myrtle Beach, S. C. and Vanessa Schaffer (Billy) of Tunkhannock; his grandson Billy Schaffer V; and his sisters, Rita Jean Palovchak (Victor) of Las Vegas and Mary Frances Schiffgens (Tom) of Maryland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
