She was predeceased by: her parents, Buzz McWhirter and Betty Callahan McWhirter; her daughter Tina Chergi; and her brother Jimmy McWhirter. She is survived by: her husband William Markiewicz; her brother Buzz McWhirter (Susan); her nephews, Buzzy McWhirter (Sasha) and Rob McWhirter (Camille); her brother Dan; her sister-in-law Beth Markiewicz; her niece Debbie Markiewicz; and her pet Rusty.
