He was predeceased by: his parents, David Shafer Sr. and Ursula Dietrich (Wolf); and his brother David Shafer Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Jean Shafer (Lewis); and his daughters, Sharon Frahm, Debra Radocka and Crystal Corza. He is also survived by Several Grandchildren and a Great Grandson.
