She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie Martin and Patrick Martin; her husband James Kiernan Sr.; her children, Dorothy Ann Barnes and James Kiernan Jr.; her daughter-in-law Lavina Kiernan; and her grandson Gavin Kiernan.

She is survived by: her grandson William "Dave" Barnes of Lansford; and her great grandchild Ryan Kiernan of Pittsburgh.
