He was predeceased by: his spouse Jean Elaine Holian (Wenhold); his parents, William M. Holian and Lillian S. Holian (Stockert); his son William Michael Holian; and his sister Faye Rossell.

He is survived by: his daughter Cathy Cellucci (David); his grandchildren, Joshua Hulstein (Amanda), Nathaniel Hulstein (Elisa), Jesse Hulstein and Jack Hulstein (Jacklyn); and his great grandchildren, Lillian, Elizabeth, Madlyn and Brodie Hulstein.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in William's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
