He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Kocis and Anna Kocis (McCormick); his wife Ernestine Kocis (Caldwell); and his brother Charles Kocis. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Kocis of Lansdale, Mary Donahue (Joe) of Lansdale, Gretchen Kocis of Lansdale and Christina McFeaters (Wesley) of Latrobe; his granddaughters, Carrie Stephanites and Krissy Bush (Jason Bush); and his great grandchildren, Zachery, Hannah and Colin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lopatich-Brinker Funeral Home (601 Weldon St, Latrobe, PA 15650). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Vincent Basilica (300 Fraser Purchase Rd, Latrobe, PA 15650).
