The memory of Stephen J. Gazak MD (Lansdale, Pennsylvania), who passed away on December 15, 2024 at the age of 70, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Stephen may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Stephen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He is survived by: his spouse Ritanne; his children, Katieanne Gazak, Kellieanne Hawthorne (Mark) of Stephen Gazak, MD and James Gazak; his granddaughter Brigid Hawthorne; and his brother John Gazak, MD.

Viewing was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM. A Mass was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Calendar Corpus Christi Church (900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, PA 19446).

It was my privilege to have known Steve at the Prep and count him as a friend then. My deepest condolences to his family.”

Rich Blass lit a candle

“Gaz", as we called him, was an outstanding teammate of mine on the Prep baseball team. He was the lefty in our rotation and I was the righty. When he pitched I usually took his place at first base. Steve was definitely smarter than me, but not necessarily a better pitcher! LOL I spoke with him once about 10 years ago. I was amazed that he remembered that my father was a captain in the Ferko String band. He was truly a great guy and obviously had a wonderful career and great family.”
