She was predeceased by: her husband Jerome Perlstein; and her parents, Barney Goldenberg and Ida Goldenberg. She is survived by: her children, Hal Masover (Joan), Marcie Gritmon (James) and Sandra Horn. She is also survived by her step-children and nine grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Ruth's memory to either the Alzheimer's Association or the American Lung Association.
