He was predeceased by: his father Julius Kuenzel; and his uncle Robert Colwell. He is survived by: his mother Joan Kuenzel; his sisters, Joan Ann Liberto and Julia Kuenzel; his niece Fawn LIberto (Zachary Wile); his great-niece Rae Wile; his uncle Jim Kuenzel; and his aunt Jean Schuchert.
