He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Ashley Michener and Ruth Florence Michener; and his sister Jean Lowenstein. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Stephen Michener, Susan Milley (Bruce), Lois Mast (Bert), Peter Michener (Susan) and Beth Smith (Craig); and his grandchildren, Rebecca Staznik (Gabriel), Jennifer Michener (Matt Pipkins), Katelyn Stoepker (Jessie), Ben Milley (Alex), Rachel Rosales (Remi), Grace Wilson (Kevin), Yoanna McClintock (David), Joshua Mast (Hannah), Ryan Michener, Isaac Smith, Josiah Smith and Logan Michener (Matthew Michener). He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
