She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas J. Callaghan; her parents, James A. Brewis and Mary Elizabeth Brewis (McIntire); and her siblings, James, Jack and Norma.
She is survived by: her children, Janice M. Yaworski (Joseph), Thomas Callaghan (Jacqueline) and James Callaghan (Suzanne); her sister Jenny Jefferson (Austin); her grandchildren, Jill Fanslau, Sharon Brown, Christine Callaghan, Leslie Callaghan, Thomas Callaghan and James Callaghan; and her great grandchildren, Cameron, Chelsea, Josephine, Hudson, Brady and Thomas Liam. She is also survived by three children, six grandchildren and six great- grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty's name to the National Federation of the Blind, 200 East Wells Street at Jernigan Place, Baltimore, MD 21230.
