He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Solliday and Uriah Solliday; and his siblings, Robert Solliday and Dorothy Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Lillian B. Hartman; his children, Bonnie Solliday of Chalfont, PA, Deborah Hopson (late Ron Hopson) of Coopersburg, PA, John Solliday Jr. of Boiling Springs, SC, Jeff Solliday (Jeffrey Papa) of Chesterfield, VA, Sherry DeHart (late Mark DeHart) of New Ringgold, PA and Tracey Beck (Daniel Beck) of Leland, NC.; his grandchildren, John Tyschyk, James Lockard Jr., Jonathon Solliday, Patrick Solliday, Brooke DeHart, Laura DeHart, Cole Beck and Mason Beck; and his sister Elizabeth Fuller.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer's foundation of America 322 8th Ave., New York, NY 10001.
