She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Dyke and Edna Dyke (Cannon); her sister Edna "Bonnie" Johnston-Brita; and her former husband Jeffrey Hinkson. She is survived by: her husband Robert Hayes of Willards, MD; her daughters, Jean Lachman (Bret) of Quakertown and Stephanie Robinson (Melvin) of Center Valley; and her grandchildren, Jessica Edgar (Dylan) of Phoenixville, Joseph Clayborn of Berlin, MD, Julian Vogenitz of Broomall and Jonathan Vogenitz of Norristown. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
She was a big proponent in capture and release to help the stray population near her home and always donated to rescues to help in their efforts to find homes for them all.
