He was predeceased by: his brother Pawel Pytel. He is survived by: his parents, Antoni Pytel and Danuta Pytel (Drahuszczak); his daughter Naya; his sister Myroslava "Mirka" Komperda (Joseph); his niece Zoria; and his nephew Maksym. He is also survived by his parents and wife.
