He was predeceased by: his wife Olivia Whitney (Boles); his parents, James Whitney and Josephine Whitney (Dubé); and his brother James S. Whitney, Jr.. He is survived by: his son Henry M. Whitney III (Virginia M.) of Souderton; his grandchildren, Nathan Whitney (Courtney) of Fort Knox, Dr. Charis Whitney of Phoenix, AZ, Dr. Valerie Whitney Baarschers (David) of Vancouver, BC, Susanna Whitney Becker (Joe) of Memphis, TN and Erica Whitney of San Clemente, CA; and his great grandchildren, Katelyn, Selah, Isaac, Violet, Evan, Elizabeth and Valentine.
