She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Farabella and Agnes Farabella; and her sister Elvera "Chickie" Gabriel. She is survived by: her husband Anthony Vona; her children, Deborah Johnson, Anthony Vona and Michael Vona (Alicia); and her grandchildren, Nicole Harahan (Bernard), Danielle Miller (Andrew), Dana Keys (Brian), Brandon Vona, Anthony Vona, Nicholas Vona, Tyler Vona (Kaitlyn) and Madison Wolfinger. She is also survived by three children, eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Gerry's memory can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
