He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Carpenter and Elsa Carpenter (Von Springer). He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Carpenter (Flint); his sons, Jeb Stuart Carpenter of Melbourne Beach, FL and Quincy Anne Carpenter (Shane Campbell) of Swarthmore; his grandchildren, Kyrié Sue Dean (Zachary), Clara Everley Campbell and Alden Anna Campbell; and his great grandchild Finley Alice Dean.
