He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lavan and Marie Lavan (Mellon); his wife Dorothy M. (Gramlich); his grandson Cole; and his siblings, James Lavan, Sally Hickey, Rita Harkins and Marie Waters.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Lavan (Vibeke) of Cotacachi, Cheryl Luxton (David) of Flourtown, Dotti Snyder of Wyndmoor, Lisa Lavan of Hatfield and Patti Taylor (Matthew) of Harleysville; his brother Thomas Lavan of Drexel Hill; and his grandchildren, Chase, Arianna, Joshua, Daniel, Sarah, Jordan and Paige.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Philip Neri RC Church (437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
