She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sowers and Elizabeth Sowers (Grater). She is survived by: her children, David S. Hambleton (Cynthia) and Brenda A. White (Andrew); her grandchildren, Tierney, Ciera, Samuel and Tempest; her great grandchildren, Ellie and Solomon; her sisters, Doris Stover (Bert), Green Lane and Anne Knisley (Don); and her uncle Paul Grater.
