Dorothy W. Gottschall Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy W. Gottschall of Lansdale, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 19, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Richard S. Worthington and John V. Gottschall; her daughter Linda Worthington Lafferty; her parents, Frederick V. Schaeffer and Mildred T. Schaeffer; and her siblings, Annagrace Groves, Paul Clark and Lucille Mattocks.
She is survived by: her children, Sandy Franko (Frank) of Warrington, John Worthington (Fran) of Horsham and Joan McNaney (Bill) of New Britain; her grandchildren, Frank Franko IV (Amber), Stephanie Ferraro (Geoff), Jackie Romano (Anthony), Stacey Friel (Terry), John Worthington Jr. (Kourtney), Bill R. McNaney (Karen), Michael McNaney and David McNaney; and her siblings, Catherine Tiblis of Hatboro and Fred Schaeffer Jr. of Maine. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Corpus Christi Church (900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, PA 19446). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
