He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Carroll and Edward Carroll; his wife Louise Schlesman Carroll (Potter); and his son David Carroll. He is survived by: his children, Susan Carroll-Ryan (Bill), Jim Carroll (Maureen) and Kristin Carroll (Darren Damone); his stepchildren, Sandra Anthony (Clint), Joe Schlesman (Meghan) and Lori Schlesman; his grandchildren, Danielle, Patrick, Shannon, Ben, Corey and Noelle; and his great grandchildren, Riley, Hudson and Steven.

The family kindly requests that, instead of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital -https://fundraising.stjude.org.
