She was predeceased by: her husband Clinton R. Lutz; her parents, Joseph Patti and Anna Patti (Leotta); her daughter Sherry Ann Lutz; and her brothers, Charles Patti and Joseph Patti.

She is survived by: her children, Rick Lutz (Kristina), David Lutz, Diane Hammer (Mike), Kathy Clugston (Bryan), Jon Lutz (Petra) and Carolyn Shisler (Greg); and her sister Rose Marie Shanks. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.
