He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Jessica DeGarmo, Matthew J. Benedetto IV (Kelsey) and Maggie Benedetto-Griffith (Brett); his grandchildren, Brittany Alvarez, Isabella, James IV, Jackson Coons, Benjamin Benedetto, Julena Groetsch, Sesarae, Vyelle and Gabriella Griffith; his mother Rose Marie Knopf (Flore); his brother John Benedetto; his father Matthew John Benedetto Jr.; and his brother Joseph Benedetto.
