With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John M. Piljer Jr. of Langhorne, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his former wife Betty; and his parents, John M. Piljer Sr. and Anna Piljer. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Piljer; his children, Patricia Matwijec (Ted) and John M. Piljer III; his sisters, Helen Steiner and Edith Burns (Jack); his grandson Marcus Matwijec; his children, Lynne Knapp (Doug), Susan Hawthorne (Paul) and Keith McHenry (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Lauren Doig (Clarke), Paige Hawthorne, Brandon Knapp, Evan Knapp (Michaella), Shane McHenry, Brynn McHenry, Conor O'Shea, Tim O'Shea and Teddy Matwijec (Courtney); and his great-gandchildrens, Andrew Knapp, Cora Matwijec Caruso and Lucia Matwijec Caruso. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Ignatius of Antioch Catholic Church (999 Reading Ave, Yardley, PA 19067). A Mass was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saint Ignatius of Antioch Catholic Church (999 Reading Ave, Yardley, PA 19067). A burial was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Ignatius Cemetery.
