James Hughes Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Hughes Sr. of Langhorne, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 24, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Geraldine E. (Haines); his daughter Donna Walton (Dale); and his grandson George J. Hughes. He is survived by: his children, Debra Selbe (James) and James J. Hughes Jr. (Valerie); his grandchildren, Heather Shaw (Robert), Holly Hitchner (Brad), Christina, Michael Selbe, Alyssa (Derek), Ashley, Colin Hughes and Brian Grubb; and his great grandchildren, Ronan of Abigail, J. T., Ava and Dante.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private funeral service will be held at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mr. Hughes' name may be made to the American Red Cross, 2221 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA (please give blood!).
