She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Gallagher and Phyllis Gallagher; and her siblings, Kathleen Peltonen (late Tapio), Barbara Gallagher and Michael Gallagher (Donna).

She is survived by: her husband Paul Hodowanec; her children, Lisa Juarez (Santiago) and Thomas Hodowanec (Mary Kate); and her brother James Gallager.
