He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert F Backhaus, Jr. and Marjorie Turner. He is survived by: his daughter Kristi Loucks (Kyle); his grandchildren, Kayla and Kacie (Mikken Saint-Fidor); his great grandchildren, Nathan and Elijah; his grandchildren, Konnor (Mikaela) and Kira; his son Fred Backhaus (Kori); his grandsons, Beau, Preston and Logan; his close friend Phyllis Lavin; and also, Kayla, Kacie (Mikken Saint-Fidor), Nathan, Elijah, Konnor (Mikaela), Kira, Beau, Preston, Logan, Phyllis, Brad Lavin (Bernadette), Addison, Bryan, Brody, Bailey, Regina Ardoline (Jeremy), Emma, Lucillia, Sienna and Adelina.
