With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sophia Scarcella Merriner of Langeloth, Pennsylvania, born in Fairmont, West Virginia, who passed away on September 6, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her friend Sophie; her husband Bill Duane Merriner; her children, Bill D. Merriner (Elaine) of Follansbee, W. Va, Rita Yvonne Baileys (Ray) of Jefferson Hills, Robert Lewis Merriner (Deborah) of Annandale and Ronald Lee Merriner (Cindy) of Burgettstown; her grandchildren, Amanda Hixenbaugh, Alyssa Feaster, Michael, Jason Baileys, Trisha, Christy, Carey, Lindsay, Chelsea and Loni Merriner; her great grandchildren, Abigail, Megan, Aidan, Donald James, Jonathan, Amelia, Benjamin, Julia, Natalia, Lennox, Gabriella and Austin; and her sister Sylvia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
