He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde L. Heller and Kathryn Landis Heller. He is survived by: his wife Kitty Buckwalter Heller; his brothers, Clyde (Sarah), John, Robert (Joanne), Harvey (Barbara) and Joseph (Marilyn); and his sister-in-law Fay Buckwalter Grube. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
