He is survived by: his children, Charlotte Messersmith of Manchester, Charles Messersmith, Jr. of Pine Grove and Jennifer Odenwalt of Mount Joy; his grandchildren, Serenity, Joey, Jr., Eric and Victoria; his former wife Alice Coble; and his siblings, Jimmy, Lois and Bob. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
