He was predeceased by: his parents, Niles L Garber and Hazel Garber (Mather); his wife Mary Lou (Lightner); his son James Garber; his sisters, Joyce Shaffer and Alverta Bender; and his granddaughter Tracy Wenger.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Garber (Susan) of Landisburg, Daniel Garber (Joyce) of Chambersburg, Debra Lawrence (Tim) of Hanover and Christa Clouser (Mark) of Landisburg; and his grandchildren, Krista Jones, Rick Garber, Kelly Swarner, Jacob Clouser, Melissa Jutba, Nichole Liddick and Jessica Glotfelter. He is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren.
Following COVID 19 restrictions, the family requests that face coverings be worn and social distancing be practiced.
