He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Bender and Alverta Bender (Garber). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Bender (Shuman); his son Barry (Rebecca) of Shermans Dale; his grandsons, Dakoda and Wyatt; his brother Wayne Bender (Liz) of Landisburg; his niece Julie Wagner; and his nephew Alex Bender.
