He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

“I was one of the many young men who had the good luck to be coached by Tyrone on the mat as well as in life. He and I spend may days together and he was a large part of my youth during a very formative time. He taught me the value of hard work and dedication and was always a source of support and advice throughout my life. Tyrone has been and will continue to be a guiding force for me as I remember our time together and I will always be thankful that he was a part of my early years.”
