He was predeceased by: his former wives, Cynthia Wells (Melvin) and Gabriele Wells (Eckler); and his siblings, William Wells and Joanne Wendler (Wells). He is survived by: his brother Uncle; his stepchildren, Kenneth Eckler and Christy Eckler Black (Andrew); his grandchildren, Daisy, Eve, Shane Eckler, Allyson, Andrew and Caitlyn Black; and his nephews, Albert Jr., Donald, Kenneth and Christopher Wendler.
