He is survived by: his wife Julie; his son David Edward II; his grandson Zachary Peirson; his friend Ann Townsend; his siblings-in-law, Violet Peirson and Darrell J. Baker; his nephew Dan Gift; and his niece Linda Hammond. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
