He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Anderson and Dorothy Leaman Anderson; and his brother Barry Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Paula Anderson of Lancaster; his children, Tricia (Nelson DeJesus) of East Petersburg, Megan (Preston Harsh) of Conestoga and Josh (Samantha Anderson) of Columbia; his grandchildren, Alex, Kelsie (Eric), Liana, Gavin and Malia; his great grandchild Callan; and his siblings, Glenn (Dottie Anderson) of Lititz and Joyce (Craig Rynier) of Leola. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
