Willard J. VanPelt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 12, 2025, at the age of 89, Willard J. VanPelt in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, born in Columbiana, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank VanPelt and Ida VanPelt; and his siblings, Arthur, Perry, Elsie, Jake and Albert.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene VanPelt (King); his children, Deborah VanPelt, Todd VanPelt and Rick VanPelt (Marie); his granddaughters, Teniqua (Matt), Tanee (Rob), Aisha (Michael), Hannah, Rachel and Sarah; his great grandchildren, Phoenix, Brooklyn, Boston, Vivian and Victoria; his sisters, Alice Helmuth and Mary Good; and his in-laws, MaryAnn VanPelt, Marilyn VanPelt, Lana VanPelt, Judy, Wendell Selzer, Dan and Lynette King. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the James Street Mennonite Church (323 W James St, Lancaster, PA 17603). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Midway Mennonite Church (13376 Columbiana-Canfield Rd, Columbiana, OH 44408).
