He was predeceased by: his brother Virgil; his wives, Jeanne and Claire; his son John; and his parents, Fred Teply and Ruth Teply (Rogers).
He is survived by: his children, David (Anne Marie) of Lancaster, PA and Cynthia Dembroski (Peter) of Columbus, OH.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
