She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert E. Smith and L. Evelyn Smith (Gonder); and her husband Gerald H. Ackerman, Sr. (Jerry). She is survived by: her children, Kimberly N. (Jeff Worley) of Willow Street and Gerald H. "Jerry" Ackerman, Jr. (Mitzi); her grandchildren, Julianne Carmack (Logan), Ben, Ashlyn, Abigail and Olivia Ackerman; and her siblings, Jean Woland (Ron), Robert E. Smith, Jr. and Evelyn Ann Henderson (Rick). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the children suggest donating to your favorite charity in her memory.
