She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Leon Goldman and Marilyn Rae Swartz Goldman; and her sister Alison Goldman. She is survived by: her husband David Gates; her daughters, Rachael Pardue (Seth) and Emily Gates; her brother Scott Goldman; her siblings, Jean Gates, Mindy Fee, Gregory Gates and Deborah Allen; and also Thomas. She is also survived by the love of her life, whom she was married to for thirty-nine years.
