He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel E., Sr. and Elizabeth A. Webb Smith; and his brother John Robert Smith (late Donna). He is survived by: his wife Judith A. Arndt Smith; his children, Kathryn A. Pobursky (Kevin J.), Bradford M. Smith (Judy) and Jeffrey A. Smith (Anne E.); his grandchildren, Tyler, Tanner, Brandt, Matthew (Shaye), Trenton and Madison; and his siblings, Barry Smith (Vicki) and Gloria Ulrich (Tom).
