He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Weaver Keene and Glorianna Shoemaker Keene; and his sister I. Suzanne Holtzapple. He is survived by: his wife Carol M. Herr Keene; his children, Raymond W. Keene (Denise), Amy McMinn (Mike), James M. Keene and Columbia; his grandchildren, Ryan, Ciara, Justin, Michael, Trenton, Reylinn, Alex and Dorothy; his great grandchildren, Dahlia, Noah, Levi, Huxley Ross and Kaytin; and his sister Bonnie Deardorff (Duane).

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Riverview Burial Park (1100 S Duke St, Lancaster, PA 17603).
