With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roger Ulmer of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, born in Lampeter, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 27, 2024 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence C. Ulmer and Mabel Keiser Ulmer; his wife Gladys Groff; his sons-in-law, James Musser and Richard Harnish; his grandson Robert Ulmer; and his stepgrandson Matthew Musser.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia K. Harnish, Susan F. Musser, Douglas R. (Kim Ulmer) and Stevan J. (Jessica Ulmer); his grandchildren, Bryan (Julene Harnish), Christopher (Bethany Harnish), Brett (Megan Musser), Dustin Musser, Cody Musser, Kyle Ulmer, Anthony Ulmer, Kendra (Landon Musser), Zachary (Jessica Ulmer), Rachel (Shawn Bishop), Nicholas Ulmer and Matthew Ulmer; his stepgrandchildren, Emily Harnish, Andrew Potter and Ava Potter; his great grandchildren, Chase, Aubrey, Laiken, Kellen Harnish, Joel, Elliott, Willow Harnish, Brayson and Kylie Bishop; and his stepgrandchildren, Ethan, Connor Harnish, Cameron, Grace Musser, Mason Rafferty and Marley Martin.
