It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert J. Gilligan (Lancaster, Pennsylvania), born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 10, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Gilligan and Agnes Gilligan; his son Robert R. Gilligan; and his brothers, James and Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Anne Gilligan; his pet BamBam; his daughters, Patricia (Edward Zurad) and Sharon Gilligan (Annapolis, MD); his daughter-in-law Gerianne Muldoon Gilligan of Arlington, VA; and his grandchildren, Ariel, Noah, Abbey, Olivia Zurad, Ben and Audrey Gilligan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many lifelong friends.
