Richard A. Foltz Obituary

Richard A. Foltz, 74 of Willow Street passed away Wednesday morning, June 15, 2022 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster on July 24, 1947, he was the son of the late David H. and Mabel A. Sandoe Foltz. He was the husband of M S "Mimi" Loeffler Foltz.

Rich served in the United States Army for 3 years. He worked for Delta Airlines after serving in the military. He was a bakery assistant thru the years for Giant, Weis and Wegman's. He worked for UPS Store in Willow Street and for Y& S Candies. Rich really enjoyed working. He liked to do genealogy for his family.

Rich attended Lampeter United Methodist Church. He was very patriotic and a humanitarian. He would always supply his church with food to provide to others.

Rich was a caring and loving husband and will be missed by his wife, Mimi; sons, Richard Adam Foltz of Wisconsin and Richard Foltz of Mansfield, TX; sister, Joan E., wife of Thomas Alexander of New Providence; brother, John E. Foltz of Virginia and grandchildren, Hannah, Harmony and Andrielle. He is also survived by his step daughter, Andrea Nettke of Willow Street and Nicholas A. Nettke of Lancaster. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Dorothy Turner and Anna Foltz and brothers, Donald E. and David H. Foltz.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Richard's graveside services on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 11:30AM from Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. Memorial service will be held at a later date at Lampeter UM Church.
