He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Gloria Vatter (Fletter); his parents, Richard Earl and Violet Elizabeth Vatter (Evans); his children, Roxana Sanders of Lancaster, Raymond Jr of Mountville, Richard of Florida and Lori Slaski of Hellertown; and his siblings, Richard Jr of Alexandria, VA, Robert Cable of Lancaster and Faith Cable of Sinking Spring. He was also cherished by 17 Grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
He will be interred at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, East Central Pennsylvania Branch, 3009 Market Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
